Soli Deo Gloria Alpha Release

I have been wanting to do this since ages and today's a good day as I'm taking a break from studying after my midterm today. I remembered getting an inspiration for the theme of this work through reading my Music 10 Textbook on Bach, how he always ended every piece with a signature "Soli Deo Gloria" meaning Glory to God Alone.

I decided to name this PSD theme Soli Deo Gloria and aimed to design a layout which is mainly a blog with several simple information about the author and how to contact him/her.

This slideshow shows the screenshots of the parts:

The design is supposedly more realistic:

• Wood as background instead of just gradient/colors
• Leather/Skin with stitches as the navigation buttons
• Words that looked like they are carved on to the wood (Logo) or permanently deformed the material (Navigation Buttons)
• Date and Month on a glass-like button on the edge of each post
• The colour green and brown, showing trees or in other word, Life

All in all, I'm rather satisfied with the design and layout of this theme and hopefully I can find time to convert the whole PSD into for publishing using WordPress. That's another tough challenge

Another iPhone Post

Now I'm blogging with the free WordPress iPhone app. Funny how applications are shortened as apps but programs never really progs ..

This time I will be answering people's doubt about iPhone incapability to forward smses. A very important feature, keeping in mind that we get 1000 free smses per month and it's just wasteful if we don't waste those smses..

So.. As you have guessed.. Yes iPhone indeed can forward smses.

You just need to jailbreak it (with pwnage tool or Quickpwn) and install a 3rd party app called BiteSMS (through Cydia) or anything of that sort. Very simple. If you don't think it is then maybe you shouldn't buy an iPhone in the first place

WP 2.5

I know I'm being a tad late cause I'm not using auto-installed WordPress so I do not realize that the 2.5 version was out. *oops*. Oh well, the administration panel is reconstructed. It's now light blue with a better design . I've never really identified any changes while upgrading from 2.0 onwards but in 2.5, the administrator page clearly has less buttons (which is good, sometimes too much is confusing) and less words

All right. It's not the time to discuss about WP. It's exam time! (in two weeks time)

Yeah, I’ve changed WP template again…

No, your eyes do not deceive you.  I indeed had changed the look and feel of my wordpress.

Why? Do you just like to keep changing? What about some loyalty?

Well, I have tonnes of reasons why I change it and though I guess they don't interest people reading this post, I just have to say it: I wanna learn more about WP. I'm experimenting more with css and php and I'm doing away with the widgets. It's fun! Okay before I get 'what-the-...-are you blabbing about' I should stop now.

I love the white background. I wouldn't want to keep the shoutbox, but considering the amount of stuff inside, I decided to leave it there. Alalala...
