It’s strongly amusing, sometimes disturbing, how certain Bible verses that you’ve read over and over again and even considered it as ‘what a cliche!’ can at times bring a deep rebuking towards yourself. As if the words are not immaterial, not dead, but speaking to me in different situation and period. Waaa. Well, no surprise, isn’t that why it is called the Word of Life?
Today, it’s Eph. 4:15-17
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
Since I’ve just finished my ‘exam’ and I have trouble sleeping, I have decided to, yea you’ve guessed it, wallpaper it!
Quoting Spurgeon in his Morning and Evening, March 15, Evening:
CHRIST has grace without measure in Himself, but He hath not retained it for Himself. As the reservoir empties itself into the pipes, so hath Christ emptied out His grace for His people. “Of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”
A special wallpaper inspired by this passage, available in 2 sizes, 1280*800 and 1280*960. Full view please. For more sizes and colours, please request in the comment section, or talk to me directly. Thanks.
A quick slideshow for an idea about the colours
I’ve also managed to create the iPhone wallpaper version for this in four colours: red, blue, green and of course yellow.
Lately I’ve been working on a few Photoshop tutorial screencasts, or in fact I’m kinda ‘addicted’ to making more and more but I’m controlling myself. Screencasts are basically video tutorials where you can actually see what’s on the screen of the tutorial maker as he/she leads you step by step throughout the whole process. Oh ya, with sounds too. Which is another reason why I didn’t really publish those screencasts for public (I’m still quite embarassed about hearing my own voice, you know)
Anyway, one of the screencast I’ve made is how to make a stripey-rainbowey looking wallpaper. It’s kinda easy, if you really want to learn, you can personally ask for those screencasts cos I have em somewhere hidden on the internet hoho.
So back to the giveaway, I’m just gonna post some of them here, for download, just scroll right down to the bottom of this post for the link. Enjoy!
Anyway if you need any other size/wordings/colour or if you just want the PSD to change it yourself, also please leave a comment or contact me personally

Updated: It’s kinda hard to show all 265 of the abstract iphone wallpapers over here thus I’ve decided to just show the previews of random 30 in a slideshow. Then viewers can either head over to my flickr album to view and download selected ones, or download all at one go at the link provided below. Enjoy
Haha.. another reason to get a mac, including the fact that a new series of macbooks are now on sale
Is it better than Photoshop? Nah.. GUI-wise, yup yup. But.. functionality-wise, let’s say it’s a total eye candy that I can’t stop myself from learning how to use it. And.. it does have certain filters that Photoshop doesn’t. Also.. it’s always nice to learn new things right?
Here is the screenshot of Pixelmator at work. See how the ‘bucket’ to fill the background pops up when you click on it. Eye candy! That’s really one of the things that I love from mac apps.
And, as I’m learning from tutorials, the wallpaper below was created in round 10-15 minutes. The wonder of Pixelmator and its filters… YEAY…. maybe I need to import it to Photoshop to make it nicer haha…
I got these from mobile.sciphone, one of iPhone and iPod Touch’s web app where we can easily browse and download compatible wallpapers with only 2 clicks.
I chose some of these because I think they are cute and funny
