Dr. Kelso: You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change, because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out with the surgery because you're scared. You're scared because if you try and fail, there's only you to blame. Well, Missy, let me break this down for you, Bobbo-style. Life is scary. Get used to it.

Dr. Kelso: There are no magical fixes. It's all up to you. So get up off your keister, get out of here, and go start doin' the work.

Miss Goldman: What if it's too hard?

Turk: [leaning down to face Dr. Kelso next to Miss Goldman] Yeah, what if it's too hard?

Dr. Kelso: Turkleton, I have no idea why you're chiming in, but I'll say this to both of you.

Dr. Kelso: Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy.

From Scrubs when Elliot found out the guy she likes is a nurse, and Carla kept not saying yes to Turk's marriage proposal.

Elliot: Listen up everybody! I appreciate solidarity, but I did not blow off Paul because he's a nurse; so, please stop leaving bedpans in my locker - it makes me cry. Paul and I are just...different, okay.

Carla: Please, Elliot, this is not about Paul... This is about you! This is about you not being able to commit, because committing means saying goodbye to whatever unfulfilled fantasy of love you've concocted after seeing too many Meg Ryan movies. But men don't come and make everything all better - they're only human. And you shouldn't punish him because you were forced to grow up so fast you never learned how to let someone else take care of you. He's not your father, okay, he's not necessarily gonna disappear at the first sign of trouble. And, as scary as it is to consider letting yourself be truly vulnerable with another human being, what's even scarier is that deep down inside you know you picked this man...and if you run away from him now, you'll be running away from being the kind of person you always wanted to be.
Elliot: Carla, I...just met the guy!

I have been watching Scrubs recently for the... the... 6th time already after 5 times finishing the whole season maybe.. and though most of the principles I do not agree with, I can always learn a thing or two about life.

One of them comes today, and I very much agree with it... Dr. Cox said:

"But still, you might be better served — and, this is a crazy notion — if you could stop worrying so much about who does and doesn’t notice…you. Even for a second…that’d be good; that’d be real good.”

Sometimes we worked too hard just to get noticed by people. Oh man I admit that I agree with it so deeply. Why would I want good grades? So that people can see that I am that GOOD. Or maybe to get into a good job? So that people can see that I'm cool. Or if you don't care they think about, think about people close to us, like our parents. Sometimes I just felt like I tried TOO HARD to make them notice what I am doing, to tell me that I'm good, to tell their friends about me. As unselfish as that sounds, aren't we just gonna get tired one day?

What if we've got to do something that no one else in the whole world will ever know, will we ever work hard for it? Will we even agree to work on it?

I just hope that I can be faithful enough to the One above, and let Him be the one by whom I wanna get noticed. Isn't it just perfect?

Okay the post's title has nothing to do with the content of this post.

So I've talked about hulu.com and boxee and how they worked together? Now they don't anymore! So, hulu is hulu, and boxee is boxee. Sad, considering I just bragged about it :[

Anyways, what's on hulu? I've been following Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs and Eli Stone even before my hulu time here and I get kinda fed up cos most of 'em is biweekly, not to mention Eli Stone which is a VERY good show but is discontinued. I even showed Eli Stone to my family and they loved it. It's unique, so to say. Well, Scrubs was cool enough to give 2 episodes every week but starting this week, they kinda have a break till who knows when.

So, what a hungry girl to do? She's gotta watch something while eating right?

Found two nice ones. Both about detectives solving crimes. Somehow I love it! Psych is comedy-eey but Life is not so.

Psych tells a story of two detectives in Santa Barbara, CA (But they actually filmed in Vancouver, I heard) which one of them have heightened visual sensitivity which is why he kept refering to himself as a 'psychic' thus the title Psych.

Life, on the other hand, has a more serious tone to it. Crimes committed are more creepy and more real life compared to Psych. The main detective, Crews, was a cop who's given a second chance after serving in jail for a crime that he didn't commit. I find it rather funny tho cos the guy's weird and kinda cute at times. Repeating whatever happened over and over again, talking to himself and finally solved the crimes.

I find watching these series much better than watching those completed asian drama since I know when to stop LOL :P
