Rachel: "Phoebe how is you drinking helping the kids.?"
Phoebe: "Because the more i drink... the less there is for the kids to drink"

Monica: (hangs up) I don’t think this number’s right!

(Joey and Phoebe laugh.)

Chandler: What?

Phoebe: You got fake numbered.

Monica: What?! People don’t do that!

Joey: Oh I think we do.

Monica: They gave us a fake number? Why? Why would they do that?

Have you ever fake-number others, and yet that person in the end successfully reached you? I have :P

It was during the riot period (1998) in Medan that me, my brother and my mom fled to Jakarta before the riot happened there. I was hanging out alone in an arcade at a shopping mall when this guy suddenly came over, introduced himself and asked for my number. At first I was so shocked and afraid that I told him I'm not from Jakarta. Stupidly, when he asked where I am from, I told him Medan. stupid stupid. Not to mention when he asked for my number, I gave him a fake one, but not so fake as well cos I just exchanged the first three numbers with the last three (at that time phone numbers only got 6 digits :P ). Yeah, a very stupid fake-numbering effort.

So in the end, weeks after I've arrived in Medan again, he called asking for Patricia (yes, I gave my real name too), and once he told me he's that guy from that arcade, I hung up. Shocked and scared. Now I don't even know who he is or what he looks like anymore. I just learnt that I have to be smarter in fake-numbering strangers. LOL.
