My Dear Get His Makeover

I mean my dear macbook FINALLY got its makeover, oh well, not really makeover, just a simple cover up of his ugly badly scratched white surface. Okay, you can't notice it from far, but if you look real close, you can see it.
After 2 years plus, my dear macbook finally fell down for the first time, without any cover whatsoever. Plain drop, together with my imation 500GB external HD while I was asleep. Now there's no more gap between my bed and the wall to make sure such tragedy does not happen anymore.

Anyhoo, after the drop, my ext HD suffered a pretty bad blow too. It's starting to fail, getting too stubborn to stay mounted yet too spoilt to be unmounted. Not to mention there's now difficulties in moving files around. Argh. I desperately need a new ext HD, I can't lose all my important files inside! But, everything costs money lah.

I created this yesterday and just pre-launched a new blog called macgeek. Basically, it's blogging about interesting mac-related stuff. It's not really open to public, or publicized or whatever yet. I'm just trying to keep it private till I filled it up with enough interesting blog posts (there are currently only 6) :]
I'm not sure if there are any huge Apple fanboy/girls among my friends but if there is anyone reading this who has the same passion and would like to contribute (voluntarily of course) or if you just have any suggestion of any posts you would like to see, please contact me :]

Oct 20Haha.. another reason to get a mac, including the fact that a new series of macbooks are now on sale 
Is it better than Photoshop? Nah.. GUI-wise, yup yup. But.. functionality-wise, let's say it's a total eye candy that I can't stop myself from learning how to use it. And.. it does have certain filters that Photoshop doesn't. Also.. it's always nice to learn new things right?
Here is the screenshot of Pixelmator at work. See how the 'bucket' to fill the background pops up when you click on it. Eye candy! That's really one of the things that I love from mac apps.
And, as I'm learning from tutorials, the wallpaper below was created in round 10-15 minutes. The wonder of Pixelmator and its filters... YEAY.... maybe I need to import it to Photoshop to make it nicer haha...
