It’s funny, the other day I met an Indonesian in San Francisco named Asher, and I thought how unusual for a name. Who knows, the same name showed up in the movie Fame!
Anyway, after loving the husky, manly voice that is James Morrison, it’s time for sweet, soft, soothing voice of Asher Book.
Both of the songs below are the original soundtracks of Fame (2009).

If i walk would you run
If i stop would you come
If i say you’re the one would you believe me
If i ask you to stay would you show me the way
Tell me what to say so you don’t leave me
The world is catching up to you
While your running away to chase your dream
It’s time for us to make a move cause we are asking one another to change
And maybe i’m not ready
But i’m trying for your love
I can hide up above
I will try for your love
We’ve been hiding enough
If i sing you a song would you sing along
Or wait till i’m gone, oh how we push and pull
If i give you my heart would you just play the part
Or tell me it’s the start of something beautiful
Am i catching up to you
While your running away, to chase your dreams
It’s time for us to face the truth cause we are coming to each other to change
And maybe i’m not ready

There’s a saying old says that love is blind
Still we’re often told, “Seek and ye shall find”
So I’m going to seek a certain lad I’ve had in mind
Looking everywhere, haven’t found him yet
He’s the big affair I cannot forget
Only man I ever think of with regret
I’d like to add his initial to my monogram
Tell me, where is the shepherd for this lost lamb?
There’s a somebody I’m longing to see
I hope that he turns out to be
Someone who’ll watch over me
I’m a little lamb who’s lost in the wood
I know I could always be good
Someone who’ll watch over me
Although he may not be the man some
girls think of as handsome
To my heart he carries the key
Won’t you tell him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh, how I need
Someone to watch over me
