It seems never ending…
Almost nauseating and choking…

a daily fight
I guess if Chemical Engineering and all the design works do not work out for me, I can still be a part-time apple technician. LOL.
Thanks to my S$3.90 yellowish tool set bought from Clementi cheapo2 store. I can now offer services to anyone wanting to upgrade their Mac’s RAM or HD.
Thanks to my exploding PC which sparks me to consider to buy laptop, which brings me to Apple and converted me in a way that there’s no going back anymore (except for FYP, but rest assured my heart is always with you, mac
)

The new iPod nano. Now rocking a video camera, a polished anodized aluminum finish, and a larger screen. Also making its debut: FM radio with Live Pause. Check it out here!
Now everything that starts with i- sounds cool, or imitative. But whatever, I’m not here to judge their marketing or corporate identity strategy.
With me going back and forth between my iMac, my MacBook and ultimately those super slow and irritating PCs in NUS, something that I once tried months or even years ago sounded more and more attractive: Cloud Computing!
So, have you met icloud?
Nevermind it’s Vista-looking (#fail) interfaces, LOL, it’s pretty much usable and contain many useful applications. Maybe even more than the school’s PCs (another #fail *cough*).
Oh, and you really need IE to run it, as they run limited-ly with Firefox alpha, but well, compared to school’s PCs, what could be worse?
The application list can be viewed here
But these are the few points why it is by far the best Web OS available:
With the upcoming HTML 5, CSS 3.0 and the already so wide-spread Web 2.0 looking sites, I look back to those websites that I often visit 10 years ago. And just wonder how time and technology has gradually upped our design taste buds that the moment we look at these sites: a total turn-off!
Altavista (one of my fave search engines, 10 years ago!)

Seems like after all, Apple has the edge all along
Minimalist at heart!
Ah, thus the change of this wordpress theme as well, towards minimalism, not blind minimalism but a meaningful one!
Icy, the replacement for Installer in jailbroken iPhones surprised me with improved design for the installation and download screen. In comparison to Cydia which still shows bunch of codes laymen wouldn’t understand lol.
Currently testing another blogging app on iPhone called iBlogger. Apparently following closely the concept behind the well-known mac blogging app called ecto. Interface design-wise still very disappointing according to Apple standard.
Copy, cut and pasting is as easy as a few touch on the screen on this iPhone.
With the OS upgrade to 3.0, iPhone is now far ahead most mobilephones in term of power and capabilities. It truly transcends the common idea of PDA, even blackberry phones to reach a whole new level of sophistication. Simply amazing
Is iPhone just another trend? Yes and no. Why can’t someone be pretty and smart as well? Similarly why can’t something be good looking and useful at the same time?
