Padang in Medan

Padang in Medan
Jul 05
A must-eat food in Medan, whether you're a traveller or long-term resident: Sate Padang.
You can find these carts almost everywhere around the city, some good, some very good, all spicy and not all clean
My personal choice is mutton (thin slices) satays without lontong (the diagonal-shaped rice) with jangek (cow's skin crackers - sounds disgusting but goes really well with the sauce).
I'm now blogging with WordPress official iPhone app by Automattic. Looks more WordPress-y, feels better

I miss sate padang! Stanley brought back for us staying in Tampines house last time. SUPER YUMMY. By the way Pat, do you know where I can download hymns? I've been looking for this hymn here http://oinicker.blogspot.com/2006/10/he.html for some time...
hey hey...
you should come to Medan to have somemore
anyway, usually I have CDs for hymns.
Are you sure that's a hymn?
Hehe, I've never really heard of it before.
Sorry can't be of much help, but i'll try to look around for you
It is a hymn if I'm not wrong. Guess I have to find a church that recorded it or something. But anyway, I youtubed it and found an Al Hibbler version here..
