Padang in Medan

A must-eat food in Medan, whether you’re a traveller or long-term resident: Sate Padang.

You can find these carts almost everywhere around the city, some good, some very good, all spicy and not all clean :P

My personal choice is mutton (thin slices) satays without lontong (the diagonal-shaped rice) with jangek (cow’s skin crackers – sounds disgusting but goes really well with the sauce).

I’m now blogging with Wordpress official iPhone app by Automattic. Looks more Wordpress-y, feels better :)
